The restaurant offers a unique blend of Mexican cuisine with a touch of Outer Banks charm. If you’ve visited Mexico or the Southwest before, you might notice some differences, but the food is excellent. It’s definitely worth the price, and it has a rich history that adds to the experience.

Holden was our server, bar tender and food tour guide. We were beyond happy with the presentation of the food. The special was a giant tuna steak over rice. Make sure to grab a “perfect Margarita”.

The fish tacos were delicious, and the tequilas were all natural. We absolutely love Ortega's!
