The Kapoon is so-so. It's not bad but I've had better. Next time I'll try the noodle papayasalad but definitely coming back for the mango salad and smoothies.
Haven 't been to Quench in a very long time. All past experiences were always very long wait, but food was always great. I 've only ordered their kapoon once in the past; great portion size, flavor was great, but I didn 't like how luke warm it was. In thepast, I always ordered bubble tea too here to get my fix. Well, was there yesterday for some kapoon. Told the woman that Iwanted the broth hot because the last time I had it, it was just luke warm. Was going to order bubble tea, but they no longermake the tapioca pearls and just call it the elephant drink . I personally won 't order without the pearls because I love it!Took my bubble tea order to Taste of Saigon instead. When I got the kapoon, I was disappointed. The flavor was still great, butportion of noodles was only 1/3 of the container, lots of broth, but it was just warm. Not hot like I requested. I get you don 'twant customers to burn their mouth, but it still wasn 't hot enough. Sad that they no longer do bubble tea. Next time, I 'll haveto try Vivi Bubble Tea. They were still closed when I was there.
The girl who took our order appeared uninterested in her job. It's unfortunate because such an attitude can really hinder one's success. I long for the previous staff from before the pandemic—they were outstanding! Sadly, the new team has left me feeling quite let down.
Since moving to the other side of the food court, I've encountered a specific employee who frequently exhibits rude behavior and appears disinterested in her work, almost as if she feels obligated to be there. I've experienced this twice with the same person. Although I typically don’t order food from this place, I do get drinks. They really need to enhance their customer service and food handling practices. Otherwise, I usually steer clear of ordering food from there unless I'm really craving Hmong cuisine. More often than not, I prefer to order from a different vendor.
I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was inadequate—nobody let me know when my order was ready, and my food was simply left on the counter. With other customers ordering at the same time, it was challenging to figure out which order was mine. The display of vegetables and other food items looked unappealing, as if the area hadn't been cleaned in days. Furthermore, I was alarmed to see that the staff didn't wash their hands before preparing food or drinks, which is quite concerning from a hygiene standpoint. The employees also need to work on their customer service skills; when I thanked them, they just stared at me blankly instead of responding with a "you're welcome" or anything similar. I cannot recommend this place and will not be returning.
