Marino's - Marathon

Friendly service, not really Greek food but the menu offers a variety of home cooking. Meals were definitely home cooked.

We were going to Wawa from Thunder Bay.... This is an easy stop.. Behind a Petro Canada gas station. Full bar. Basic menu. Not a gourmet joint.. But good basic food. I would return.

We stopped here for gas. Don't ever stop here for gas!! The price of gas was $1.29.9 per litre. .10 cents a litre more than anywhere else! It is too easy to stop here. It 's located right on the highway. The full service at the pump was excellent but he was taking his time. On our return trip we stopped again to use the bathroom and grab a bite to eat. Well, The restaurant was nothing fancy. There was a large Bar and a few small TV's that were from the 1980's. The waitress was cheerful and polite. The foods was ok. We were the only ones there. Yet we waited 20 minutes for our food. The food was way over priced for the amount and quality of food.You're better off turning off the highway and drive into town where you will get more choice of restaurants at lower prices. Gas too!Would I recommend this place? No!! Would I return here? No!! There are better places close by in Marathon.

I have eaten here twice over 2 years as travel from overseas! A great place to eat and reasonable prices. Waitress Chris is very helpful and polite.

The place looks tired and dirty...the awful uniforms that waitresses wear are from the 80's and look like it. The food was blah and very over priced.
