Nice place to enjoy French cuisine. Good food friendly staff and nice setting . Definitively a place to wine and dine.
Homely, friendly atmosphere and great food and wine. No trip to Nueva Andalucia without visiting Vanessa and Philippe!
It was recommended by friends and I thought I should give it a try. A very disappointing experience. As other reviewers wrote, the menu is rather expensive especially relative to the average quality on offer. There was a mussel soup as one of the specials of the day, however the mussels as a main course were not recommended as affected by a bacteria, we were told by the owner. We couldn’t work out how the mussels soup was available nonetheless! The wine list consisted of a very meagre selection (3 or 4) Spanish reds and an equal number of whites. Being a French restaurant, I asked if they had any French wines and then the owner came back and produced a very ordinary Côte du Rhône and a reasonable Bordeaux at €85!... I therefore settled for a very average Ribera del Duero. The main problem throughout our evening in this restaurant was the (only) waiter who had dreadful BO. I find this totally off-putting and frankly completely unacceptable. It was so over-powering that it put me off the whole ‘experience’. They kept the front door opened throughout and the traffic noise as well as the music playing too loud made for an extremely uncomfortable and unpleasant mix. Conclusion: Don’t bother! Marbella has so many better places.
Excellent Fench cuisine. Attentive and amiable staff. The owners are usually there, and in this instance, it's a good thing. The outdoor terrace is enormous. It's slightly expensive, I'd say it's on the steeper end (maybe 50e pp with wine), but it's worth it.
