Considering the restaurant was busy, our meals were provided quickly and we were in and out in about 40 minutes. My mum and I shared a few share plates including the sweet potato, polenta and lentil fritters and we were blown away by the flavours in each dish. Highly recommend.
If you're looking to experience a traditional Margaret River pub atmosphere, this is the spot for you. Locals gathered for a hearty meal and drinks, with roaring laughter filling the air. The place was bustling and packed, with waitresses navigating through the crowd. The bar was bustling with organized chaos. This isn't the place for a fancy celebration, but rather a place to hang out with friends, savor local beer, and soak in the authentic Australian pub ambiance.
We came here Saturday night for dinner. Loved it so much we came back Sunday night! Beef burger is awesome. The brownie was my wife 's favourite. 'Divine ' is the word she used. Portions are big enough that you could share if you 're not too hungry, or perfect if you 're absolutely starving. No point looking around the town for other dinner options now
We, a group of Kiwis on holiday, discovered this delightful restaurant with a lovely French bartender who was incredibly helpful. We also tried the spaghetti shrimp combo, which was FANTASTIC! Some may have different expectations, but we thoroughly enjoyed experiencing new recipes at a reasonable price. Thank you!
The River has quickly become one of our top pubs in the area. It has a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of seating options. Enjoying a beer outside under the lights on a mild autumn evening is especially pleasant.
