Jerk Flavors Lounge - Markham

I had my heart set on the oxtails I drove from Ohio to finally get here to see that the hours are wrong or the workers are just to lazy to stay open until 10pm. Either way I’m very disappointed. Service: 1

I adore the food at this restaurant. I have been a loyal customer for years and they never fail to impress me. I usually go there for dinner, and the price per person is around $20-$30. I would rate the food a 4 out of 5, the service a perfect 5, and the atmosphere a 4. Some of my favorite dishes to recommend are the Jerk Sauce, Steamed Callaloo, and Jerk Chicken.

This place has REALLY gone down hill!! How do you give a jerk chicken taco with SKIN??? They NEVER have everything on the menu so you have to get what they have which is not much. The mac n cheese tastes like it comes from a box so we stopped by Chick Fila to get their mac n cheese! The cabbage taste watered down the there was NO jerk in the jerk chicken!! The ONLY good thing was the plantains and they only had 1 order of that!! This place has really changed since it first opened and not for the better! Let me not forget, it was so HOT in there that even if we wanted to dine in, we would not have! They definitely need to do better!

The service was decent, with my order taking about 7-10 minutes. I tried to call in my order but the phone was off the hook. As for the atmosphere, I didn't care for the setup of the restaurant. Even though it is a bar, it was too dark for me to eat comfortably inside. There weren't many people eating or ordering when I was there.
