Walking in, the shop was tiny, can't really dine-in more for take-out only. First time here, so I decided to order their fruit tea with onezo pearls and mr. Tran decided to order their onezo milk tea with pearls after debating if he should get that or their brown sugar dirty milk tea. Got our order within 5 minutes of waiting, and took my first sip. It was okay, I mean I had better fruit teas, but this one tasted exactly like passion fruit green tea with mixed fruit inside. Took a sip of mr. Trans milk tea and it was bland, not the greatest. Their homemade tapioca was soft and chewy, I think that was the highlight of our drinks. I don't think I will come back anytime soon.
Expectation vs reality, $9 for this horrible mixture. Not only it looks like a disaster but also tastes terrible
First time coming here, probably our last. Slow service overall. One employee making drinks is definitely not enough when there are over dozen drinks to make. No menu on the board or their board was broken. Eventually found a table of menu cards, printed on index cards, maybe 4x6 ? Words were so small, makes it difficult to read. What is the difference between mango niuniu or mango sasa? Price is the same. Dirty tea? Does the term dirty really inspire customers to order the item? Ordering process was frustrating to say the least. You want milk, milk tea or soya milk? How much ice? How much sugar? Additional tapioca? What type of tapioca? What size drink? (Even though promo says only medium available). Any additional toppings? The questions goes on and on. Now repeat that for multiple drinks! Probably the main reason why the wait was long. So much time wasted just taking orders. Employee do not seem to know their product menu. Had to point and eventually turn their promo sign around to show them their promotional totaro mochi milk tea drink. Promo drink had strange taste. It 's a drink that requires chewing of taro bits and gooey mochi. Drink was suppose to have Oreo pieces but we didn 't find any. Give the drink 2/10.
Very fun bubble tea shop. If you like variety of tapioca options this is a great choice for you to be able to choose customizable color and flavors of tapioca. If you have a weird thing like me where you want to have your drink a fun color, there are many taro/purple options that are unique tasting and fun. The sweetness level is a bit higher than expected. I ordered 25% sugar and would say it is easily 50% at Cha Time for sweetness. The tapioca is extra chewy and the texture is really different than other places, in an enjoyable way.
I love the strong flavour of their tea and their bubbles. I couldn’t give them five stars though because I’ve been wanting to try their rose bubbles, but each time I go, they do not have it available.
