The food started coming at about 7:10pm and then it was only one meal at a time with the last meal served at 7:30. We believed that the food was microwaved because it was hot outside and cold inside. Most of the dinner was so bad that it was uneaten.
We had their $12 lunch special, it was fantastic! I had French onion soup followed by beef stroganoff over rice, really tasty! My friend had an excellent Greek salad and chicken skewers with roasted veg and potatoes. The only draw back here is because it is also a lounge, some of the tables are coffee table height. That's great if you are just there for a drink, but it's tricky to eat soup from a coffee table! Usually there free tables, but last week we had to pass on lunch here because they had a large group and although they still had plenty of chairs free, they didn't have any more dining height tables. But give this place a try, it's great value for great food!
My 2 near-adult children treated me ☺️, and we enjoyed the tapis and the paella (and everything else.) It was my early Mother's Day celebration. The flavors were excellent and authentic (the chicken may have been a little overlooked but only a tiny bit.) The grilled vegetables and everything else were wonderful .The tiramisu with alcohol is worthy of mention. They had entertainment and the band played old favorites which the crowd throughly enjoyed by joining in. There was a Japanese song thrown in for good measure! A lot of singing. A little bit of dancing but I didn't want to embarrass my kids too much so I held back. We had a great time. Check it out!
My girlfriend and I have frequently been going to this charming restaurant quite a lot lately as it is very close to our house. We have yet to order anything from the kitchen that didn't exceed our expectations. They have live music on the weekends which is a real bonus. Karaoke on Sunday night is also an unexpected bit of fun in this cool spot. Recommended for all.
If you like Tapas, give this place a try. Lots of small plate options, daily specials, and full size portions too. The food is very tasty and nicely presented. We had coconut shrimp, mushrooms in a flower-shape flaky pastry, and chicken croquettes (very large portion.) Staff is knowledgeable and make good recommendations as to how many dishes to order, for sharing. (2 of us were looking at 4 tapas dishes, and server suggested we could probably go with 3, because 1 was a large portion -- and she was right -- we had more than enough for lunch) We'll definitely go back for dinner.
