He arranged for the perfect private room and worked with the person organizing everything to pick an incredible menu that was also gluten free. We had several dishes and every one of them was fantastic. Truly authentic Chinese cuisine helps to have a friend that knew exactly what to order. Favourites were the Peking duck served with lettuce cups and fresh garnishes, spare ribs (crispy and delicious), and grilled grouper. Some dishes are only available on the Chinese language menu so definitely ask for suggestions the staff are very accommodating. We all had a truly amazing evening. One of the best meals I have had all year.
I knew this restaurant from a friend living nearby on Hollingham Rd. I like the taste here. But today, as soon as me and my wife parked our car, we noticed both of us forgot to bring our wallets. It is about 12:30. We are even more hungry outside the restaurant finding out we only have about 5 dollars change in our cars and all pockets. I decided to go in to ask if they will accept etransfer, which I can do from my cell phone. The gentleman greeted me told me friendly that they do not take etransfer. After he saw my obvious disappointment, he continued to say that they will let me eat and pay later days when I am convenient. I can not believe what I heard. Having been in Canada from 2002, I never heard that before. No business wants to offered that I guess. But A restaurant would put a trust on a customer like this! I called my wife who is still waiting in the car and tell her we can come in to eat and pay later. We are so happy and grateful. The food are good as before. We ordered steamed fish today. It is so nice and we have to say it is much better than the fish we ate last night at Quan Ju De (the most expensive restaurants I have been to in Markham) . I noticed the price is higher than before. But it seems the plate are bigger . Since we are hungry, me and wife order three dishes. I will say, It will be enough even if our two adult sons were here. We enjoyed the food and packed the leftover. I offered to give them my name and cell#, the gentleman said he does not need that. He just stick my bill to the wall and told me whenever I come by, just come in and pay that bill. They made our day. Thank you!!! deeply from our hearts. Thank you!
Ordered Abalone Treasure Pot in Chinese New Year and the taste was very good! I have recommended to my friend to order it for their family celebration too. Owner of the restaurant is so friendly and explained well on how I should prepare the Treasure Pot at home.
Food taste is above average. Service acceptable. Pricing is slightly higher but worth it. Lunch scores more than dinner. Needs to wait during rush hours. Parking fine. Internal environment improved after recent renovation.
Great Cantonese dishes. Best is fried chicken with stuffed sticky rice. Owner Jack and Tammy are super friendly. They make a point to greet customers and chat with them.
