We visited Jinlin to celebrate a birthday, and it turned out to be quite a disappointment. The service was lacking; we were served water in paper cups, requested spices and ice, but never received them. To make matters worse, our main courses arrived alongside the appetizers, and we weren't given dinner plates. It was quite uncomfortable to eat our entire meal from an appetizer board. The staff was not only unhelpful but also rude. We ended up spending $300, only to feel like it was a total waste. As we were leaving, the hostess followed us into the parking lot, asking for more money and insisting on a bigger tip. I do not recommend this restaurant.
I absolutely love this restaurant! I used to drive 30 minutes just to eat here, but I recently moved to the area, and now it’s only a 3-minute drive away. The food is amazing, and the service is always friendly. The menu is extensive, offering everything from traditional Chinese dishes to more authentic options. Their bubble teas are also delicious and incredibly fresh. The decor is beautiful and more upscale compared to other local Chinese restaurants. I highly recommend Jinli!
Under-average food... On Monday night the place was completely empty. There were some excuses, but no one came in to sit and eat. We sat and got two used paper menus. We ordered our food and got it very timely (of course we were the only people there). The food wasn't so good. The noodles were too salty and the broccoli had not enough sauce on it. The spring rolls were okay? I probably won't come back soon. The food was definitely not great, and there was no x factor or whatever that made me come back.
Authentic and flavorful. I ordered the 'Chongquing grilled fish with vegetables and peanuts ' and it was great. Spacious place and pleasant. I will eat at Jinli Sichuan Cuisine again. The dessert was very good too, sticky rice balls stuffed with sesame butter.
