Brisket nachos and Zombie Dust on draft, what's not to love. Brooke was friendly and on point, despite being the only server. They need to upgrade their tortilla chips, the ones they serve are meh. The salads are excellent! We will return. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

My high school friends and I get together once a month to try out a new restaurant, and this time we chose The Lakes, located in a charming countryside setting. The scenery was beautiful, making it a peaceful and relaxing environment. There was an impressive variety of delicious food on the menu, and the seating and overall atmosphere were excellent. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed without feeling rushed, which made for a fantastic visit. This is definitely a place we want to revisit! I highly recommend trying the Bacon Jam Burger with sweet potato tater tots—especially if you haven't had one before!

Sea bass with crawfish was very good. Fish was a little overdone. Prime rib was good. Ordered rare to medium, received medium. Carrots are fantastic. Creamed spinach is very good. I just wish our server would have know what the specials were as they weren't posted on Facebook. She said it was crawfish but don't know what how it was served, even after going back to the chef to inquire. I overheard another server tell another table that it was sea bass with crawfish and sauce. Seemed like our server wasn't on board with working tonight. I didn't catch her name but she was more interested in talking through the doorway with the kitchen staff. Specials should be posted besides the prime rib

I enjoyed a wonderful Mother's Day brunch with a fantastic variety of dishes. It was their first year hosting this event, and they did a remarkable job. There are a few areas that could use some improvement, but I have no doubt they will refine everything. Overall ratings: Rooms: 5, Service: 5, Location: 5.
