Auberge du Clos Normand

Why is our experience so different than others more valued? I can only speak as we have found, and that is that the cooking art has not reported anywhere near the standard others. it's not terrible. only so much under the standard of the...auberge itself, a beautiful building in excellent grounds. a shame.

Excellent French traditional cuisine. great service, great ingredients and a talented cook. dog-friendly also!

I wish we could stay longer. very cozy beds, spacious rooms, beautiful garden with a cool place on the river, very good restaurant, excellent service. the staff is very friendly and helpful. we want to come back.

Food they only want to eat all the selections on the menu! cannot wait to experience the gastronomic experience again.

Our stay included the evening meals which were truly full of flavour, originality in presentation and a mix of different textures. The wine (as recommended) was excellent as well. The dining room is beautifully decorated and the kitchen open to view. The staff were first...class. The breakfast was equally impressive, fresh orange juice and farm fresh butter (salted or unsalted) great taste and nothing like the packaged varieties. Well done to all.
