Martindale River Cafe Mercantile

What a wonderful little cafe in a perfect Texas town. We arrived to find incredible music being played just across the street. Can't wait to go back.

Food was okay, very small portions compared to the price, had a salad with chicken on it for 16$ and had another sandwich which was small portion for 12$. I had to wait 50 minutes to get my food. Probably won?t come back again but just writing this forfeedback ????

We absolutely love coming to this spot when we are in town. I enjoy getting to come in and have coffee or grab a quick snack during the day. They also throw these beautiful and intimate little concerts that you would be a fool to miss out on. The wholevibe is welcoming and we look forward to being back again soon .

I wandered into this place, ordered a brisket sandwich and a Dr Pepper. $16.50. That?s a lot of money to me. I get the same thing, bigger and better, in Lockhart for less than $11. They don?t seem to have their prices listed on the menu board, or maybeI missed it. And the cook coughed on my sandwich while he was making it. I?m waiting to see how that turns out!

The River Cafe is a cool place to hang out, grab a drink, a bite and take in assume love music in a cool, cozy, genuine atmosphere. 9/10 and will definitely be coming back to this spot.
