Shades Cafe Coffee - Martindale

This place should really update their online presence because they are not open. We are in the area for vacation and we were looking for a breakfast place.

Have lunch here often but this was my first breakfast. Awesome! I had the shades hash while not for everyone, it came topped with fresh sautéed spinach and was great in my book. My waitress was Tori and she was very good and an absolute delight. For those of you who did not know, shades vegetables are largely straight from a local garden and the greens are all exceptional

10/10 recommend Shades Cafe! The food was so fresh delicious with very reasonably pricing. Will definitely be returning with more friends and family! Sooo good. (Pictured is the Shades Hash) Also had a cinnamon roll that was so soft and fluffy with the perfect not super sweet cream cheese frosting. YUM . If you’re on the fence , go!

Wow, what a fantastic lunch today. Everything was so fresh made from scratch. Fried catfish and fresh hush puppies. The service was outstanding. Nice atmosphere.Give Shades a try in Martindale.
