Chicken In The Basket - Martinsville

My son works in Martinsville and gets his lunch here often. He said the food is outstanding!

Eaten there 3 times since they have reopened but now it is just carry out the food was good and reasonably priced

Best hot dog in town! I have tried a few of the specials including chicken and dumplings and the chicken casserole. I can’t recommend this place enough. Good down home food like your momma made it. Great for this area! The staff is so polite and accommodating! Friendly staff, good food, a clean facility and prompt service what more can you ask for!

My boyfriend and I ordered two breakfast platters this morning. All that food for 6.95 a plate — great deal! Absolute good food! First time trying since they reopened. I’ll definitely be back! Waiters checked up, gave refills, gave food fast. Greeted when entered and waiter came over instantly. Only thing about my order that was messed up was they left one item each off our plates. Grits for my boyfriend and fried apples on my plate. We didn’t instantly notice, so we didn’t say anything.
