Sampaguita - Marysville

Hidden gem. A [family] friend introduced me to this place. It has since changed owners but still dishing out great food, no pun intended! There were 2 others picking up their orders and since I have been coming here as a regular the person in front of me got curious as to what I was getting and said it looked good! I offered but the person politely declined and said she’s sold to whatever it is I got and ordered it, as well! Lechon Kawali is a must here!

So yummy, delicious, clean and friendly Filipino take out restaurant. I highly recommend this place. I will be coming back again. I don’t cook Filipino foods as I don’t have time and I really don’t like cooking. It’s nice that there is a Filipino take out/cater restaurant I can go to. Thank you Sampaguita restaurant for making delicious foods. I will order party trays for my kid’s birthdays

Best Filipino food I’ve had since the last time I was in Southeast Asia. Authentic, like grandma is cooking for you(because she is). Most tender meat I’ve ever had, best pork belly I’ve had. No frills, come in grab a plate. So much variety and options. Before you leave grab some sweets from the cooler, then go take a nap at home. A couple of stools to sit and eat on, which was perfect. The sun was shining in, didn’t feel like I was in wa state. True foodies dream. I’ll come back to Marysville just to eat here.

The Pancit was INCREDIBLE!! (Exactly as I remembered it from a work potluck at the post office years ago, which I had been craving ever since! They are not joking when they say this is a VERY SMALL take out restaurant. There were a few small tables with stools but I would plan to eat elsewhere and just use the stools while you wait for your order. The 'menu ' was very confusing with no prices, descriptions or pictures... I would have felt way more comfortable if I spoke the language but at least I already knew what I wanted to order.

Filipino food at its best. Family owned business and friendly staff. Filipino food name it Adobo, pancit, lumpia, pinakbet, lechon kawali, oh boy! I can go on and on and on. They accept food catering and call them for order then pick it up. Saturday special is their great steak! (order ahead of time)
