Bella Donna Pizzeria - Maspeth

Great little pizza place. I've been here for years since I moved to the area a few years ago. The pizza has always been really good. The prices are great and the take-out specialties are a life saving in the week when you work late and need something delicious and the budget fits. I personally love the Chicken Primavera Pie I always choose from the baked chicken and ask for grilled chicken instead and it is always fresh and tastes really good. NOTE: It is always best to order the pizzeria directly, it is actually much cheaper than ordering with an app and they do not screw up your order.

I'm a bug fan of Bella Donna. When it opened 20 or so years ago, it was great. When the years passed, it kind of fell off. On a whim, after I didn't order for a while, I tried it again about 5 years ago. I was rewarded with good food and good pizza. I enjoyed the Tortellini the ziti the sandwiches are also good. I've been ordering ever since. Whatever these guys do now man it finally works MAKE SURE TIP the DELIVERY GUY GOOD! I ordered a special through the Slice app and when it passed the time when my order came, I started reviewing the Slice app. They were not good, so I called Bella Donna and the owner was extremely nice and apologetic. Turns out when you order from Slice, get their drivers and they are in no hurry. The order comes within minutes of my call, but the driver does not bring the soda. He says that's all they gave me. Why didn't he check the order to make sure it was right? He didn't call the owner again. The owner personally drove the Sodas to my house and asked me to order directly from him. Great customer service. And the food was great too. I live in Queens now, but the pizza transported me back in time to grow in the Bronx. I mean this as a big compliment. Thank you.

I just ordered pizza from here for the first time since I moved to the neighborhood and definitely found my new place! Coming from Ozone Park we had some of the best pizzas in NY (New Park, Ozone, Aldos etc.) and this place is in place if not better! The price for a big paprika cake was also just $20, which was very fair for this neighborhood.
