Krispy Kreme Doughnuts - Matthews

Freshly made doughnuts with a delightful scent that tells you when they're ready. A big thank you to the guy who brought them to our neighborhood!

The only reason I'm not giving this a one-star review is that my service hasn't always been terrible here. On Veterans Day, I went through the drive-thru to get the complimentary coffee and donut for veterans. I had every intention of ordering more, but after waiting in line for 30 to 45 minutes, I completely lost my appetite. There was also no way to leave the drive-thru once I was in line. I hope this location can return to the great service I've come to expect.

We usually love this place, but during my last visit to pick up three dozen donuts I had ordered online, I was quite disappointed. I typically use the drive-thru for pickups, but when I arrived around 7:20 am, no one responded at the speaker. I ended up waiting at the window for 10 minutes, during which two employees came to the register and completely ignored me. One even took an order from the car behind me. I finally went inside to speak to the manager, and when she asked my name, she surprisingly informed me that my order was already ready! Really? That's why I was waiting at the window. We'll give this place another chance, as they may have just been having a bad day, but it was frustrating to waste time for an order that was already prepared.

Who doesn 't love 'hot, fresh donuts '??!!! Don 't try to count calories on your visit to Krispy Kreme...just embrace the moment! ? The location in Matthews, NC was exceptionally clean. We sat at the table and enjoyed watching the donuts being made. Curtis provided outstanding customer service! I highly recommend this location and if you can skip the drive through and go inside, you 'll enjoy watching those delicious being made!

Catching up on reviews. I frequent this location the most. This review is for my Sunday, 07-03-22 visit. I'm a rewards member and stopped by to try the new doughnut flavored ice cream. I believe I had an email that allowed me to try an ice cream product for free. I splurged tried the original milkshake. It was ok. On another visit, I wanted to take advantage of the ice cream cups for $1. The email advertised flavors of vanilla, chocolate, strawberry. I was under the impression that there would be actual chocolate and strawberry ice cream. All of the ice cream was vanilla; it was the toppings that gave the different flavors. Disappointed that that wasn't explained in the advertisement. To make matters worse, they didn't have all of the flavors they'd advertised. Usually, the staff members are pleasant and courteous.
