Starbucks Coffee - Matthews

I placed a mobile order through UberEats for some drinks and cakes. As is common with third-party apps, they charge extra for simple syrup. I wasn’t quite sure how to request my drink sweetened (an iced green tea), so I decided to call the store. I let them know I had placed an order and paid for one pump, but I wanted my iced green tea to be sweetened like the classic version. The barista explained that a Venti typically comes with five pumps and they were more than happy to accommodate my request. The customer service here is fantastic. I usually visit this location on weekends before work, and even though it's busy, the service is consistently exceptional, especially considering the challenges of the ongoing pandemic. I absolutely love this location!

I want to give a big shoutout to Sofia! I tend to be really indecisive when it comes to ordering drinks, and today was no exception. With a line forming behind me, I quickly asked the lovely Sofia to whip up a customized drink of her choice, and I’m so glad I did. She created one of the best drinks I’ve ever had at Starbucks! On top of that, her friendly and vibrant personality made my visit a 10/10 experience. I will definitely be back for that drink soon. Thank you again, Sofia!

I was busy working when a woman approached me for assistance with connecting to the Starbucks Wi-Fi. I was glad to help her and got her online in no time (make sure to use Chrome or Firefox, not Internet Explorer!). The Shift Supervisor, Jonas, noticed what I had done and generously gave me a $4 gift card for my next drink, which I thought was very thoughtful. It’s these little gestures that make a big international chain feel more like a cozy local spot.

I regularly walk here after school and get some snacks. The staff/baristas are always kind and friendly. I enjoy my time here and always like to hang out with friends. Thanks so much for being a nice place to be and a fun place to hang out with friends!

Had an absolutely excellent visit today. After a rough day at work(we are short staffed and I work in retail) I was able to unwind and felt comfortable. All my food/beverage needs were taken care of and the staff was EXTREMELY welcoming, kind, and understanding. Best Starbucks ever. Yes, there are locations closer to me, but I couldn’t imagine going to a different one!!
