Nik's BBQ on the Lake - MAWSON LAKES

Huge portions and so damn tasty! I have been here a few times and each visit I'm very satisfied. The meat is full of flavour, chips are crunchy and salad is fresh made with good quality ingredients. Great location and staff are always friendly and welcoming. The gelato is delicious!

Very average Yiros, any mall yiros would own the one they serve here. No idea whats all the fuss is about. Service was ok. Place kinda messy.

Hear so many great things about this place so we finally tried a yiros. I was so dissapointed. tasted just like any dry yiros you get from a fish n chip shop. Yiros should be off a spit not roast chicken. Plus the place was really messy. Wouldnt go back.

Ate at this place as a last ditch resort in lieu of a fast food restaurant. Ordered a Hawaiian spud and a lamb AB. Spud was dry and dehydrated to look like it had either been sitting under a heat lamp for several months, while the AB was dry and provided my grease intake for the remainder of 2017. Service was also exceptionally poor; it took about 20 mins for the food - and during this time, we saw multiple customers being treated rudely and poorly by the head honcho. In retrospect, maccas or hungry jacks would have been the safer options, avoid niks unless you like poor service and want an overload of grease.

I'm not sure if the proprietors of this joint had there entire family give fake reviews here seeing though they can't make a yiros with any flavour. Had 2 bites and threw it out. Disgraceful. I hope for their sake the rest of the menu has some taste. But I'll never know as I won't be back.
