Royal City - Maynooth

Rarely leave reviews but this place is a hidden gem. Beautiful food, great staff although one or two of them are suspiciously tall.....would def recommend and will be returning

Maynooth, if you have not been here yet, get there soon. A pretty restaurant with style but without pretensions but most importantly delicious food. In my experience finding authentic Korean food is a challenge, I did not try everything on the menu, in fact I settled for 1 dish, Korean fried chicken and it was excellent, super crispy outside, juicy and delicious inside and spicy but not blow your head off chilli sauce cracking chips to go with it. Not only is this great food but the wine was very reasonably priced organic! If anything they need to blow their own trumpet harder louder.. They obviously have a substantial take out clientele but it was a pleasure to eat there. Staff were lovely and my only quibble was the slate instead of plate, a minor detail probably old style now :

One does not arrive in Royal City Korean by mistake it's usually word of mouth, or TripAdvisor reviews. A friend recommended me to try Korean for the first time ever and I am now happy to report I am addicted to this place. The food is so great, honestly cheap for the quality, and just writing about it I want a salmon bibimbap. Thank you guys you run a great place!

I went for lunch with my girlfriend. We had a lovely meal, the food is great and the waiter really professional. I think that the price quality ratio is really decent. I highly recommend the place Philippe

Lovely meal, first time for Korean food. I didn't know what to order so I asked the waitress to pick a starter and main course for me..she picked the CUP-BAP Spicy Pork. The food was delicious the service professional and friendly and the value excellent.. Will definitely be back.
