On The Border Mexican Grill Cantina

The dining experience at Brickstone Grill was exceptional. My wife chose the Seafood Plate, while I decided on the Country Fried Steak Plate. Her dish featured a generous portion of fish, crispy fried shrimp, and fries, all of which were delightful. My Country Fried Steak Plate included a hearty fried steak drenched in a rich gravy. The mashed potatoes were excellent, generously covered in the same flavorful gravy, and the corn on the cob was perfectly sweet. For dessert, we indulged in the Chocolate Fudge Cake à la mode, which was delicious as well. The waitstaff provided outstanding service, and the restaurant itself was modern and beautifully decorated. All in all, we had a fantastic meal at Brickstone Grill and look forward to visiting again!

The Chicken Tikka Masala and Chickpea Curry are both popular dishes here. It's hard to believe there's an Embassy Suites in McAllen that offers Indian cuisine, but it's true!

We had a great experience with the Thursday lunch special priced at $5.95, which included a delicious gyro. The staff appeared to be new, but our waitress, Mary, was outstanding. There was a slight misunderstanding when the hostess thought we hadn’t paid for our meal and pursued us, but we assured her that our waitress had already handled the payment.
