The General Wine - MCLAREN FLAT

I had the Sunday Roast along with Vikki's chocolate bread and butter pudding. The roast was outstanding, complete with all the traditional trimmings, including proper Yorkshire puddings. There was plenty of vegetables and roast potatoes, and the beef was perfectly cooked, melting in my mouth. Vikki's unique take on the chocolate bread and butter pudding was absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely return without hesitation; I highly recommend this place. Thank you, Vikki and the team, for making my birthday Sunday afternoon so enjoyable!

I just stopped by for a drink, and I have to say the atmosphere was fantastic, the staff were great, and the wine selection was impressive! What more could you want? This place is a must-visit if you're in McLaren Vale. Victoria was an incredible host—super friendly and welcoming. Our Espresso Martinis were exactly what we needed. I will definitely be returning!!

I dined here on a Saturday night for the chef's set menu, and it was an incredibly delicious and enjoyable experience in a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. The venue is lovely, and the staff are friendly. The value is also outstanding; coming from Adelaide, I can say that if this menu were offered there, it would easily cost twice as much. I highly recommend this place if you're visiting McLaren Vale. The locals are truly fortunate to have such a gem in their area.

Lovely wine bar, went in with a group of 11 on the 12/3 for a wine tasting and they were very accommodating. Staff were so nice and manager is so bubbly and friendly. They even gave me a free wine tasting for my birthday which was so lovely!

We had the most amazing time for my wife’s birthday. Vikki was so accomodating and everyone who came was so impressed with not only the venue and the service, but also the Sunday Roast with all the trimmings. The food was delicious and there was plenty of Yorkies ; We will definitely be coming back and will be recommending.
