Contribuisci feedbackWe've been driving by for months meaning to stop in. We did tonight and are we glad we did. The decor is very nice and the food was both delicious and plentiful. We had a great waiter! Being Japanese food newbies, we had more than a few questions. Our waiter gleefully explained the menu and made suggestions based on our tastes. Would recommend Mikado to all.
Amazing value for good sushi. I was very surprised with the quality and value of the sushi here. I am used to spending anywhere from $60-$100 for a good sushi dinner for two. Mikado has a weekday special (lunch and dinner) for $11.99 where you pick three rolls off a specific list of 12 or 15 choices plus miso soup. Of course, the rolls you have to pick from are the simple standbys- Spicy Tuna, Cali, Philly, Salmon, etc, plus a few very tastey fried rolls (Rock 'n 'Roll and Phoenix are excellent). It 's a really great meal and very refreshing to find something of such good quality at a 'value ' price. Makido is not my favorite sushi in the Harrisburg area, but I come here more often than I visit my favorite sushi joint, so what does that tell you?
A great place to eat and kid friendly. The chef in front of you gives you way more that you paid for. That's a good thing don't get me wrong. Each time I have gone there it has had great service time. If your going there with your family I recommend going at lunch. It is a lot less packed and the bar Is closed.
Very Good. 5 adults+1small child ate here, seated promptly, drinks arrives quickly along with salads and sushi rolls that we had ordered.Chef did great entertaining us, food (mine steak and scallops) were great.Big portion, most of us taken a box home.5 meals cost me $135.00.Very similiar to what I had paid at other place's like this.Would visit again, very pleased.
Great Sushi. So far the best sushi I had in the Harrisburg area, my girlfriend and I come here frequently. Try the Pink Lady, it is a special roll, but I order everytime I am there (if it's on the special board or not), it is by far the best sushi roll I ever had. Spicy Tuna with fried Shrimp rolled up in it, doesn't get much better than that.
