It really bad the way Manager or supervisor behaved to his employer was soo bad, “streaming at him” he was old men and doing his job but still I couldn’t take it. They need learn there place and stop it, I felt soo bad while I was eating a pizza. They need to start treating there employees with respect.Kid-friendliness: Just felt so bad
On 11/30/23, I had the opportunity to take 8 of my high school life skills students to the Capital City Mall for a community-based instructional trip. These outings are not only educational but also immensely enjoyable, and my students genuinely look forward to them. However, during this particular visit, we encountered an unfortunate situation. One of my students believed he had a specific amount on his card to cover his food expenses. Regrettably, when it came time to pay, he still owed an additional x amount. While we were more than willing to cover the outstanding balance, we saw this as a valuable teaching moment for the students. To our dismay, what could have been a learning experience turned into an unpleasant encounter. The cashier 's response was marked by impatience, rudeness, and an unexpected cancellation of the order. The money was brusquely slapped on the table, accompanied by comments about us holding up the line. This reaction was disappointing, especially given the educational context and the willingness on our part to resolve the situation promptly.Despite the unexpected hiccup, I believe that such incidents provide valuable lessons for our students, teaching them resilience and patience. However, it would be greatly beneficial for businesses to approach such scenarios with understanding, considering the unique circumstances of diverse customer groups. Overall, while the educational aspect of our trip remained intact, the encounter at the payment counter left a somewhat sour note on an otherwise enjoyable outing.
Reports about the old guy are wrong, he is very kind and infact gave me extra food for free along with a sample. Everyone working there was kind and funny, I don't see how this is a 2.8 star restaurant, yes prices are a little high, but the slices of pizza for 6 dollars are huge, like 1/4 to 1/3 of s whole pizza. As to burnt food (referring to reviews about pizza) I can't speak for that as I got the baked ziti, which I believe is a great dish, wasn't burnt. The breadstick was okay, my drink was kind of eatery though. As a conclusion, Sbarro doesn't deserve the 2.8 star rating it's sitting at now, but rather closer to a 4.5.
