A&W - Medicine Hat

I suppose that my expectations might be too high when I come to a fast food restaurant, order custom burgers, and expect the teenage staff to get the order right the first time. On this occasion I had to repeat my order four times just to get it through. There was a significant delay in getting the order delivered to my vehicle, but when the food came, everything was correct and hot and tasty.

Nashville Chicken Sandwich Combo was delicious. Who doesn't love fresh, salted fries? World class, icy cold root beer? Then the chicken sandwich. I found it a bit too spicy but the special pickles really rounded out the flavour profile. I'm stealing that pickle recipe for my accidental flood of zucchini this year. Kudos to Austin and his team.

We needed a snack and A& W was right next door to the Travelodge. Our dog needed chicken for his supper and they kindly cooked a plain chicken breast.

Consistently good food. Love the burgers, fries and rootbeer. Always fast, restaurant is clean, employees are very friendly.
