The Heartwood Cafe - Medicine Hat

We had an amazing dining experience with both the chickpea burger and the Beyond Burger, which were fantastic. We began our meal with a cup of vegan cauliflower soup and shared a kale Caesar salad that was absolutely worth the hour and a half trip to try. It was a wonderfully spent Saturday exploring vegan options. The entire staff was friendly and knowledgeable, making us feel at ease as we navigated the menu without needing to make any adjustments. They clearly explained what was and wasn’t available for vegan options. To top it all off, there were three vegan dessert choices, and we couldn't resist trying all of them. We loved every bite! Overall, it was a great place to enjoy delicious food. As an update, as of May 17, 2018, the terrace is expected to be ready soon – what a perfect addition!

We visited this restaurant for the first time and really enjoyed it! The breakfast was excellent, and the service was top-notch. The staff was incredibly friendly, and we had no issues bringing our little baby boy along. The atmosphere and music were very calming. I highly recommend this place and look forward to going back to try more items from the menu. We also took home some delicious cookies and maple bacon muffins.

As a band on tour, we had the pleasure to play the heartwood caffe in this summer and we recommend this jewel also bands and publikum alike. from the moment when we showed up, we were treated with hospitable and good humor by jenny and the rest of the personal. the excellent cuisine, attentive audience and the overall fantastic mood make the heartwood one of the most important places for live music in medicine.

Has great vegan options that are also present in their sunday brunch!

Always a great dining experience. Such a unique place to eat. I love it. Roasted Beet Salad is my favourite.
