Pacific Dunes - MEDOWIE

It was a tough and challenging experience! I really enjoyed the challenge, but the wind made it even more difficult.

The course was nice and well maintained, and the Pro-Shop was great as well. Unfortunately, I won't be returning because the course was overbooked with many groups of four, which caused significant delays. It took us 2.5 hours just to get through the first nine holes! It doesn't seem practical to allow smaller groups to play through, but it would be beneficial for the club to encourage this on busy days. As a single player, the slow pace of the game really affected my experience. Additionally, I encountered a rude member who brought down the mood for many of us during our round.

I played at Pazifik Dunes today. Despite the recent heavy rains, the course was in great condition underfoot. The layout is quite interesting, featuring a mix of narrow, tree-lined fairways and water hazards. The fairways are flat and in excellent shape, and the greens are also relatively flat, rolling true and smoothly. From what I understand, it’s a great course for members, but it also offers a challenging yet manageable experience for visitors.
