Lisa, the owner and daughter of the original owners who started the restaurant 48 years ago, was a wonderful host. She provided recommendations and shared stories with gracious service. We ordered fish and chips, fried pickles, fall-off-the-bone ribs with their homemade rib sauce, onion rings, and milkshakes on the very spacious deck with comfortable chairs. Everything was delicious. We highly recommend this hidden gem. It may not be fancy, but it has a real street-side diner vibe and serves amazing food. Two thumbs up!
It depends on what they are looking for..fest, when a small simple house made burger...not Prefab....and best poutine we had in the old. cash media only during the pandemic was somewhat surprising. thanks for lunch. it hit the spot.
The wait was extremely long and the food was terrible. Whenever my family tries to decide on a restaurant, someone jokingly suggests Campbell's. We all laugh and take a shot at it. It was a truly disappointing experience.
Customers can place their order inside the restaurant or at the drive-thru. The fish and chips were tasty, and the coleslaw was delicious.
We stopped here for a late lunch and just wanted something small to tie us over until dinner. But right from the start, the service certainly wasn't with a smile. The woman who served us put in half the order before we even were finished...ordering so we had to wait for the rest of it. May as well have had no condiments on the hot dogs and they tasted like they'd been pre-cooked. Don't think we'd go back again.
