We chose the Emperor's Palace to entertain a group of interstate and local friends for dinner the night before our wedding (2 large tables of 10 people in the private room) and everyone loved the food and the atmosphere. The menu is varied enough to suit all tastes, but if you want to vary your choice, Gloria will always look after you. Ask her for extra king prawns in your special fried rice (you won't be disappointed) Also, on the plus side, the restaurant is not licensed so you can bring your own wine or beer, which is always our preference anyway.Recommendations: Chilli squid (dry), lemon chicken, garlic king prawns, Mongolian lamb and just for something different - try a king prawn omelette!!
We often pop in here for a quick dinner before work. We work down the road at night. The food comes out quick, is always tasty & fresh. I like this place because it has proper table cloths, you get prawn crackers to start without asking & water on table. It is clean has nice decor & is not expensive. It's not licensed but there is a liquor store next door.
Love this restaurant. Every dish we order is a success! We drive 30 minutes to eat there, my kids wouldn't eat anywhere else.
I have been coming to this place for over 25 years, with my family. The owner has always provide great service, family concern. good value for money, quirky menu fried ice cream. We have celebrated so many special family occasions here. love the décor hasn't changed for years but adds to the charm.
Very nice meal out with friends. Friendly and attentive staff. We shared fried rice, beef and black bean, flaming prawns, Peking pork chops and mixed veg. All was delicious. Chinese can be hit and miss but this was definitely a hit.
