We drank our drinks that had gnats in them by the way, and went to the restroom and our server came looking for us. I’ve never had a server come and see if I’ve left before. No tips were given that day and the food is beyond disgusting for the price. You might as well put up a sign saying, “If you’re young and black dont eat here.” I promise I will never eat at another Boscos. The overton square location should be closed.
A very enjoyable atmosphere, good food, and good craft beer. Great job!
Went during lunch hour, everything was rushed. Food was rushed. Better in evening or after lunch rush.
Boscos has great vibes—the interior is warm and cozy and there is a fantastic patio during warm weather. One of the best bar scenes on the square. The food and drinks, however, are incredibly mediocre and overpriced. With such a tidy menu, you’d expect more from the offerings. A recent visit included the spinach artichoke dip app which was good but at $15 for at most 8 oz., overpriced. Thin, lightly topped individual pizzas for $16-17. An over-cooked fish sandwich and (the unlikely favorite of the table) a sizable grilled chicken sandwich with plentiful fries for $15. Sandwiches seem to be a better value than the pizzas. Table service was lackluster. Come for the bar scene and maybe a light bite.
You cannot go wrong with Boscos. Though the pizza is a classic and never disappoints, the appetizers and sandwiches and even the steaks are just as delicious. The desserts are also all incredible, especially the skillet cookie and brownie. Besides all of the food, the service is truly amazing and the overall vibe is always perfect.Parking: A few paid and free parking options around Overton Square, can fill up especially at peak times like weekend evenings
