I have cocos yarns that were absolutely delicious with a mango sauce to dive. my man has ordered in a tomato sauce. he ate everything, but really was not happy with it, but because we had the menu problem, he went with a fish that the waiter recommended. service was excellent. not sure we would go back.
Once again one of their specialties: octopus Poc-Chuc, tasty! char boiled and marinated as the yucatan dish Poc-Chuc, this entree that they can also share as an appetizer for the table is fantastic. there are many other delicious seafood options at silver fish!
Ceviche aguachile camarones diabla are so good. all local fresh fish. beautiful upscale restaurant in mérida. friendly and attentive service. beautiful air conditioning also!
The cocos yarns were excellent. six very large garnels served in half a cocose with a delicious sauce. this was served on a bed of raw cabbage and carrots. reis would have been better. sad, I had a better margarita from a dose. that. is popular with families and the table next to me had two uncontrolled children. will I go back? because as expensive as it was a lack of ambiente, probably not.
Silver Fish Seafood Restaurant is walking distance from my house so I go there from time to time. It is always fresh tasting. Excellent seafood soups and some really great salads! The battered shrimp is a little heavy (think) batter for my taste, but if...you like fried foods you will enjoy them. Excellent service ALWAYS! Prices are a little higher than most places but the quality is outstanding. Parking is very limited other than on the street. Sadly, like most all seafood restaurants in Merida, they close TOO EARLY!
