We are typically huge fans of North Italia! However; we felt their chicken Parmesan was only average this time compared to previous times in both Denver, San Antonio and Austin. Their prices for sides such as salads have gotten very high at $10 for a plain salad and $15 for a Caesar salad. Their drink prices have also gotten very high at $15 for a glass of house Pinot Grigio. They do not even serve a side of bread or garlic bread to go with your meal like many other Italian restaurants still do. We still like North, but not as much as we previously have based on prior experiences.
Four of us met foer HH and sat on the west patio. The beef carpacio was insanely good, as was the bruschetta and red pizza. Not bad lucking into 1/2 off bottles of wine either. Our server(s) were professional, and attentibe. It was a wonderful evening.
My first time to North after seeing it the weekend before and came in for my birthday during Sunday brunch menu and it didn't disappoint! I was at one in Austin a year ago not realizing there was more than one. So fabulous I'm sure you couldn't go wrong with anything on this menu. We had the meatballs as an appetizer and a margherita pizza followed by the walnut carrot butter cake. Amazing!!! And Tyler, our server was fantastic as well.
As usual...super load...slow service and sub par meal. Horribly over priced food and wayyyy better places to east in Cherry Creek/Denver. Wish this place would close down so a better venue could take over the great location...which is the only thing going for this place.
