Broken Yolk Cafe - Meridian

The service was extremely slow and the waitress wasn't friendly. Our party of 3 waited 45 minutes for our salads and a burger. The restaurant was mostly empty at the time. We had to request our checks and wait until our waitress finally got around to bringing the checks. Then another wait for her to bring us a box. I've been anxious to try this restaurant, and was very disappointed.

They always forget the gravy, and the food is way too greasy.

Steve and Anne run an incredible local restaurant on North Meridian that boasts a fantastic team, delicious food, outstanding 5-star service, and a welcoming atmosphere. They offer a military discount and have an excellent rewards program. This diner and its staff are truly the best in the area. I’ll see you there! Wishing you continued success, Coach Pete.

I ordered takeout – two eggs and a biscuit. The woman at the counter asked if I wanted bacon or sausage, and I mentioned that it wasn’t included. She insisted that it was, so I opted for bacon. However, she then tried to charge me five dollars for it. She struggled to reverse the transaction, and now I’m left dealing with my credit card company. When I finally received my food, the biscuit was cold (see picture below). With so many other great options available, I would suggest looking elsewhere. The food and service just aren’t worth the hassle.
