I settled into my seat with my sub, chips, and drink, only to find my soda flat. It seemed like the syrup bag must have been empty—definitely not the way to keep customers coming back. At least they managed not to mess up the Doritos; I had a terrible experience with them three years ago, which is why I decided to give this place another chance. Big mistake! I won't be returning again.
The new veggie policy has me considering other sandwich places. They counted out exactly 3 spinach leaves for my 6 sub.
The kindest 2 ladies helped us. They made our simple steak and cheese taste better thank in others stores because they paid a lot of attention to detail. Perfectly toasted with melted cheese right on spot. I wish the store had nicer bathrooms. And I wish these 2 nice ladies get rewarded for looking after the store and it's customers. We were there for a while and saw them clean, rearrange stuff, serve customers and keep energy to be super kind to us. While we were out working and did a quick stop for a bite. Thanks ?
--- I’m giving this place 3 stars because of a frustrating experience I had with the staff. When I ordered my sub, the woman who prepared it struggled to understand my requests. I had a voucher for a meal, which she claimed had already been used, although that wasn’t true — I hadn't used any credit on it at that time. It took several tries to sort it out, and they didn’t even add my drinks and chips to my order correctly. At one point, she mentioned she couldn't read my mind when I held the chips, implying that my voucher wouldn't work because she thought I had changed my mind. Despite telling her the voucher was for a $7.99 meal, she seemed confused about my order throughout the process. I asked for extra toppings, but she said I could only have 6 per sub, despite offering me a side of jalapeños and banana peppers that I hadn’t requested. Also, I wanted my sub wrapped since I was going to eat it later, but she didn’t ask when I would be taking it. Instead, she let me know that others were being served in a basket, which was irrelevant to my situation. Another issue was that she didn’t provide me with a receipt when I asked about it; instead, she seemed preoccupied with other customers, despite there only being a few people in the restaurant. I felt ignored, especially when she just left to run an errand outside without resolving my concerns. While the restaurant was clean, with good music and organized dining, I found the service lacking. After waiting for 20 minutes, I asked about my receipt again, and she was distracted, seeming more engaged in her own conversation. I hope that the staff can improve in the future. It would go a long way if they could listen to their customers, admit when they make a mistake, and provide better service overall. Had they done so, they would have certainly received a much larger tip from me.
