Contribuisci feedbackWhen we approached the restaurant, we were “created” by a man who awakened his arms that they were closed even though we checked whether they were open. The door was unlocked, so we went in. We were the only people there and sat on a table. We heard a lot of screams coming from the kitchen and if we knew about another restaurant, we would have gone. I ordered the wild boar that was mediocre, and my husband ordered the pig boar that was terrible. The French fries were cold and soggy. The only good was the very generous glass of wine.
Boar stew tasteless, though delicate. Pork Steak hard, chewing, full of gristle French fries cold. No vegetables or other potatoes offered. The staff is completely indifferent except when it cries. Local wine well and only 1.80 euros per glass. It must be somewhere better than that in Mertola.
This place was recommended by the hotel recipient. The menu was meaty (to be expected, probably), so I went for a vegetarian dish that was delicious. Wine selection was good.
Food was tasteless and staff not interested in us as guests. Although recommended by the hotel, don't bother going.
This place was recommended by our hotel but we were disappointed overall. Yes, they served traditional Alentejo food and delicious black pork in my case, but presentation and imagination were lacking. Our server was very nice and helpful.
