This particular restaurant is situated in a stunning location overlooking the Canizaro area. However, the service was lacking as the waitstaff seemed untrained. When I ordered a chardonnay with ice, I received a cooler instead and had to pour our own drinks. Despite this, the pasta and pizza dishes were delicious.
The experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. I usually don't complain about service or food, but this time it was just not great. The service was slow, which was tolerable, and the broth and olives we had were delicious. However, some of the bread was stale. The focaccia was tasty, but when I ordered my favorite dish, the spaghetti alle vongole, it was terrible. The pasta was overcooked and tasteless. I even questioned if I had lost my sense of taste due to Covid, but unfortunately, the grinder was broken so I couldn't add salt to improve the flavor. We debated whether to inform the waiter about our dissatisfaction, but ultimately decided against it as the chefs were within earshot. I've never sent a dish back at a restaurant, but this time I couldn't eat what was served. The staff was friendly and not rude, but the service would have been overlooked if the food had been better. It's a shame because the ambiance was beautiful, but the food didn't match up. We ended up having toast when we got home.
I recently met a friend for coffee at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the main conservatory with the beautiful view was closed, so we were only able to have coffee for lunch. We were served by one employee who usually works in the conservatory for breakfast, etc. We ended up sitting at a table near the park entrance, which was cold and drafty. The atmosphere was lacking, with loud music playing and no one sitting around. It seems like this restaurant is more suited for overnight guests. I found out that all guests have to pay for parking, unlike other hotels at Heathrow Terminal 4 such as the Hilton, where parking tickets are validated. This policy seems strange and cheap. Overall, I will not be returning for coffee, tea, or to stay based on this disappointing experience.
In the round, avoid at all costs! After we couldn't get a table here, we were happy to get a table on Christmas Eve. unfortunately it was a great disappointment from beginning to end. the personal was unstoppable and not that of. even a restaurant in the middle area. but later, eating was seriously rubbish. where do I start? £7 for broth for the table? I fit. the burrata came alone without relish or broth, the bruschetta was soggy, the netzen were happy. the carbonara was only pasta with sawn, no wobble no sign of something as over boiled pasta and tasteless looked as sauce, the meal of my child was spaghetti in chopped tomato water claimed to be sauce, steak was gray, "truffle parmesan fries" were chewing and also tasteless, I expect not really truffle for the low price. an extremely tasteless, joyless, talentless meal. if I could give 0 stars, I would,
Sent all food back as inedible. lovely restaurant and terrace overlooking small leafy park. some staff try hard and some seem quite indifferent.
