Contribuisci feedbackThis place has the best sushi rolls in England. I believe they are even better than Makiyaki. You must try the cherry blossom, sunflower, crispy roll, or the huge rich scallop roll - you won't be disappointed. I am a sushi connoisseur and have tried it all over the world, and this place ranks in my top 3. It's the perfect spot for a birthday party, where you can try out a variety of rolls with friends. The fish is very fresh, and the sushi train concept is not even worth considering here.
I have visited this restaurant many times. As the name suggests, they specialize in maki rolls and offer a wide variety of them. I can't wait to go back for more.
The appetizer sushi at this restaurant is really delicious and I would recommend it. However, the chicken katsu curry was disappointing - just baked chicken with BBQ sauce on top. Stick to the sushi if you visit, it's better!
Best sushi south of the river?. discuss. in any case try the fresh thunfish/garlic/rough salad.
As I’ve harped on several times before (of which you are all duly sick of), I have a regular weekly column on the website of my local newspaper, Food Bites with yours truly for Your Local Guardian. The other week I submitted my entry as usual to a lady who works there. She takes my articles, portions them up into more digestible parts (long paragraphs are not aesthetically pleasing in narrow columns) and publishes them on the site. She of course also reads through the whole thing to, I assume, check I haven’t misspelt, cursed or offended any powerful figures.
