We had a lot of fun if we are in Las Cruces again I would definitely visit and buy some more pottery. Everyone at the stores were so nice and friendly. Even my 12 yr old enjoyed the shops and getting chocolate and ice cream! The historical site is really neat to read about.
Not to be missed for history, shopping, restaurants and fun.
I like all the interesting stores with great quality products. The weekend market is Friday and Sunday. I guess everyone goes to Las Cruces on Saturday for the farmers market. I love the nostalgic feeling of this place. I like the clothing, jewelry, stones, and lots of spiritual type of items. I love the Mexican food and Amish candy stores. The ice cream store is nice, they have other candies in there. It’s a nice place to stroll and relax. The city surrounding this plaza is very quaint and interesting. It’s antique with rich SW history.
Step back in time. Mesilla Plaza is a peaceful place, where you can stand in the gazebo and listen to the church bells or the choir singing for mass. You can stroll around and enjoy lovely homes or just take in a sunset on the benches around. The sweet shops that surround it have all sorts of New Mexican treasures, and the dining is divine. On Sundays you may enjoy the artisan market. And, for Dia de los Muertos, the festival with its ofrendas is the best around.
Pleasant place you can find nice souvenirs and delicious food
