Uchi Sushi Hibachi - Metairie

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The staff was friendly and provided fast service. The filet was delicious, and I also tried some rolls that were all delicious as well. I will definitely be coming back again in the future.

The food was decent, the prices were fair, and the service was reasonably priced. However, the main issue was that the air conditioning was clearly malfunctioning. Customers should be informed about this kind of issue in advance.

The miso soup was too salty and oily. The sushi was very slow. Additionally, the filet mignon roll contained a different type of meat than filet mignon, tasting and appearing like cheap ground beef. When I asked about this, I was initially told it was filet mignon, only to be informed later that it had been grounded. Unacceptable!

I just recently started to regularly go to this place, and I must say that it is by far my favorite sushi spot in the larger new Orleans area. excellent eating, great staff, simply tasted on the ol' book as it costs more that they spend. as long as this place remains open, it will be my place for delicious sushi.

My family has been eating at Uchi Sushi since it opened, and Johnny has only improved the quality of the food and service in that time! This is our favorite sushi spot despite the competition in the area. Highly recommended!Highly recommended for sushi, hibachi, and lunch.
