Contribuisci feedbackLast week, I dined at this restaurant with my friends from college. We were seated in a private space that was gorgeous, but the background music was very old-fashioned and didn't really match the Chinese ambiance. We ordered what appeared to be dim sum, but was actually soup-filled dumplings, delicious spare ribs, broccoli dish, sweet and sour fish, and yang chow fried rice. The waiter was very friendly. Overall, the food was average but overpriced. I don't think I would dine here again.
I have a new dinner for friends in this restaurant in a private room. it was a set menu although I had changed a few items. my initiative has not improved food quality. we were just a small group, but the service was very...patchy the eating stuck in my crawl, but not cheap in my memory! it was expensive for what we received. some of the foods were deceived from the time we received, which is completely unacceptable to me. it indicates that the kitchen abandons the food, lying around without any urgency to get it to the diners.
I was here on Saturday night for a function. the air conditioning of the restaurant was unconsistent: one minute it cooled the room; the next switched it off and soon the room became warm again. some of the foods were pleasant, especially the mango sago...served for dessert, which I would simply have consumed three times the amount in the offer. On the other hand, the reis tepid was served, while the steamed Lapu-lapu was far from the most beautiful I had on the philippines. the English of the waiter was also poor, which did not help. toilets were clean but ran out toilet paper without being quickly refilled. while not the debt of the restaurants, there is a fee young chikdren running around, which is a security problem for them, other mozens and employees. the manager should ask the parents to control their children.
Horrible food, terrible service, and a terrible dining experience sums up our visit to this Chinese restaurant with my wife, baby (2 months old), and mom today. We asked for a table with a high chair for the baby but were seated in the middle of the restaurant with no baby-friendly options. The disaster continued with the food, as the curry chicken we ordered turned out to be dry and overly spicy, lacking any curry flavor. The fried rice was not what we ordered, and the vegetarian noodles were also disappointing. The owner, Mr. Choy, personally took our orders and showed no concern when we expressed our dissatisfaction with the food and service. I would suggest avoiding this place and dining at Happ Chan instead for a better Chinese food experience in Manila.
My Mom and sister took of us to Kirin which is the only Chinese Restaurant in the area. The restaurant was nicely decorated to match the ambiance of the high end Bonifacio High Street clientele. They serve Hong Kong Cantonese style. We dined in on...a weekday which was a none busy time. The food was excellent including the dimsum.
