I came here earlier today with a friend and her son. Luckily, the restaurant was not too full. I liked the entrance to the restaurant as it had that Japanese feel to it. We were also seated in a more exclusive area so we were able to talk quietly and enjoy our meals.Food - I ordered some items on their Robatayaki and they were really great. The bacon wrapped around the quail egg was cooked just right, no burnt marks at all. The beef was super tasty. For mains, I had the beef teppanyaki and we shared the chicken kara age. The teppanyaki to be quite honest was not worth its price. The meat was not that good (had tenderloin). It cannot match that of Kimpura's. Not worth ordering. However, the Chicken Kara age is the closest to the ones I've eaten in Japan compared to other restaurants here in Manila. I had their house blend iced tea and it was delicious. Ambiance - the restaurant gets quite full so it can be a bit noisy and busy but the interior design was nicely done.Service - Joey our waiter was quite quick. He helped us with choosing what's good in the menu and was very nice, courteous and polite. All in all this still is a good restaurant. Though pricey, you still get some good quality food and service. Will definitely come back and try other items on their menu.
We went to Ogawa for the first time. We found it out this restaurant for rich people and prices are quite expensive but so delicious foods. The car parking are so full. They have reservation if full of seats. they have waiting area and fall in line. They wear casual and semi formal code it depends on your occasions or events. no slippers are allowed.
We went to Ogawa to celebrate my birthday! Located in the Fort Strip, the restaurant had plenty of parking available. Ogawa is situated on the second floor and is a cozy establishment. With a group of around 10-12 people, we indulged in the typical Japanese dishes such as sushi, sashimi, tonkatsu, tempura, and more. The food was delicious and we had a great dining experience.
The food at this restaurant was fantastic, the service was excellent, and overall it was a perfect dining experience. We tried the Steak, Tori Katsu, BentoNox #6, salmon sashimi, and the green tea ice cream.
