Balans - MiMo - Miami

My best friends mom treated me to dinner at Balan's to celebrate my recent accomplishments and I had a phenomenal time.

Saw this Balans location was within walking distance and decided to try it out for dinner last Friday night.

I've been to this chain of restaurants several timesIt was my first time at this location.

The restaurant offers excellent service, delicious food, and beautiful views. I ordered the swordfish, which was cooked perfectly and served in a generous portion. The wine and drink menu were also impressive. I highly recommend this place.

Ate here w our kids and had a nice meal. Kids had a buffet designed for them which worked out great and. Ore higher end restaurants should heed this call. $15 each but included lots of choices which kids love as well as deserts and a drink. I had the swordfish which was a bit overdone and a bit tasteless. My wife had the filet which was served over a tomatoe based medley of zucchini and squash which really didn't go with it very well. Read reviews and told side of Russell sprouts was roasted but they arrived steamed and again tasteless. All in the best part of the meal was our excellent waiter. Ate at pacific grille the night before and that meal was a lot tastier.
