My favorite family owned and operated place. Taking a good, long time friend out for lunch she wanted somewhere she had not been and Esevagonte was our choice. We were 3 and shared the Sauteed Mushrooms and Ropa Vieja Flatbread (both were excellent) as appetizers. We each ordered an entree, my Partner had the Spicy Shrimp and Chips which is a favorite of hers and I had the Salmon which is definitely my favorite. Arrives with grilled vegetables perfectly cooked, I add a touch of Siracha and my palate is pleased. Salads are included and we 3 shared our usual and best dessert ever; Dulce de Leche Apple Flatbread. A glass of wine to compliment and we were enjoying our day. Our friend ordered the Porkloin and while she enjoyed the flavor mentioned it was overcooked and tough and she was not a fan of the Cole Slaw side and manner Plantains were prepared. I never order Pork anywhere and restrict my intake to once a year on Noche Buena at my Cuban friend's house so I am not an expert. I teased our friend she just wanted us to take her out again, LOL. Still one of my favorite places and really looking forward to trying the Mac and Cheese next time. Enjoy!

I am still the only Open Table patron to review this restaurant. I assure you I am not family or investor, it's just consistently good. Fresh and home cooking goodness. Eva is warm and inviting and my compliments to the Chef. Location is very convenient for me and while it would be nice to have specials not on the menu, that desire is more curiosity to see what this amazing Chef would do with Sea Bass, Scallops and Yellow Tail. Paella for 2 would be most welcomed. Still have to try their Pizzas and next time I am ordering the Chicken or perhaps the Flank Steak? Today was Ropa Vieja (best ever) and Penne Bolognese which my Partner enjoyed. Portions are plenty and Dulce de Leche Apple Flatbread is...OMG good! Esevagonte is a must visit. Enjoy!

Great restaurant and now most probably will see my Cousins there as we invited them to dinner and they really enjoyed it. Food is good, service with Eva is wonderful. They offer 1/2 off appetizers and wine during Happy Hour which is a great deal. We were a party of 4; 4 appetizers, 4 entrees, 2 bottles of wine and 1 dessert for just under $130 bucks without gratuity. Amazing especially for Miami! Little gem of a place, family owned and operated. Love it! Enjoy

My darling! Great salmon, a unique Ropa Vieja and everyone we bring to Esevagonte loves food. A Miami gemstone with a 1/2 off appetizers and wines special of 3-5. The best! Note: New hours are Monday to Saturday from 12 am to 5 pm. Yes, this place is so great that they are open these hours. Say Eva hallo and enjoy!
