Nicole's Cafe In The Country

I went to this country cafe on Mother's Day and was pleasantly surprised by how quickly we were seated. The atmosphere felt cozy and inviting, and our server was incredibly attentive and sweet. We found out that someone had not shown up for their shift on such a busy day, but the staff still managed to provide excellent service. The menu offered a nice variety of options and the prices were very affordable. Overall, it was a great spot for a delicious breakfast.

I would not return to this restaurant even if I were paid to do so. The service was the worst I have ever experienced. I went on 4/20 for my birthday breakfast and the server was incredibly rude. It took forever to receive our drinks (despite there only being 4 tables occupied in the whole restaurant with 2 servers working). When our food was finally brought out, my mother asked for a drink and the server literally rolled her eyes, grabbed a ketchup bottle without asking what she wanted, and stormed off. She also had to be asked twice to bring us our split bill, and even then we had to wait for her to get it right. I am amazed that she is even employed. The other waitress, a lovely blonde, seemed much more pleasant.

The restaurant serves generous portions of classic Southern-style dishes. The staff is welcoming and attentive. I will definitely return.
