Alternative Grounds Caffe - Middleport

I love seeing a place like this in Middleport! I spent a lot of time here over a week as I worked remotely while visiting family. I appreciated the space they had and the consistent friendliness of all who worked there. My favorite treat was the poptart still thinking about several weeks later! Looking forward to visiting again.

What a find! Delicious vegan cheese sandwich with vegan pesto and carmelized red onions on wonderful rye bread. I have a dairy allergy and the staff is marvelous and helpful!

Nice little cafe along the canal, food was good and atmosphere cozy. You can tie your boat along the canal and walk over for breakfast or lunch. Or as we did, park our van along the canal and walked over.

Most people drive to work and have a 9-5 shift. Most people drink coffee before the get to work. This place is only open when most people are at work already.
