Newport Creamery - Middletown

Unfortunately I will never been returning for ice cream here. We waited 35 minutes with only 6 people ahead of us at the walk up window. When we were finally served the woman was painfully slow. As a group of 3, there was 4 minutes between each ice cream served so we couldn't even eat together. Theses were not complicated orders. It was a scoop with sprinkles. Additionally, the shop looked disgusting from the window as the staff were leaving gloves, gummy worms, and other random things all over their work table. It seemed as if no one had scooped ice cream before.

I’m a pretty picky eater, and dislike crowded restaurants a lot, but Newport creamery is the best for a quiet dinner with family! Really good food, and fast service! Ice cream was good too ! : THE FRIES WERE THE BEST PART THOUGH! Get the twisted fries if you go here !!

Dog friendly outdoor seating. But, what keeps us returning is the really, really good food and great staff. We live 30 minutes away, but whenever we're in this neck of the woods, we come to the Red Rose ? to eat!

Love the awful awful Overall good. Price has gone up

This place has been around forever. Great friendly service. It's pretty much and old style diner with an ice cream counter. And the food is yummy and comes out quick. Of course it's worth going for just the ice cream. love it!
