Opal's Table - Midland

I enjoyed the Lobster mac and cheese from the lunch menu. The top layer was hot with chunks of lobster tucked beneath a delicious cheese crust. As I reached the bottom of the dish, the temperature wasn't as warm. Despite it being lunchtime, the restaurant wasn't crowded. The two-seater tables lacked a view and were inconvenient since there was no space for my purse. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive.

This restaurant offers amazing drinks and food. Midland could use more hidden gems like this! Be sure to try the Pineapple Sour cocktail - it's fantastic.

Not a very welcoming place but just thought staff was having a bad day; stuck us down in the basement since we didn’t have a reservation. Ordered the salmon with veggies. Turned out salmon was excellent but veggies were burn to a carbon crisp. Asparagus was ok, okra was burn and not editable, and the brussel sprouts were uneditable because of charcoal build up in the mouth.

Great food and great service! Sophia was so friendly and helpful! Filet, bacon wrapped shrimp, and wedge salad was great!
