This was my first visit to this location since I was in the area, and I have to say, it was a disappointing experience. The food was unpleasant, and the customer service was even worse. The cashier had a terrible attitude both over the phone and in person. I requested hot sauce, mild sauce, and lemon pepper, but for some reason, they decided to serve the sauces on the side—did I ask for that? Absolutely not. The chicken was dry and overcooked. I will never return. I’ll stick with the Harold's on 117th and Pulaski. The staff at this Cicero location were rude and uninformed, and I am extremely frustrated.
I will never return to this restaurant again because they consistently ignore the instructions for preparing my order. The service is terrible! This isn’t the first time my order has been wrong; I gave them a second chance, but they’ve blown it again. It’s not like baseball where you get three strikes—two strikes and you’re out. Do yourself a favor and choose a different place to order from!
Back home visiting Harold's has been one of my favorite places but this one not so much my chicken was not fully cooked and my wings looked as if they were going to fly off my dish with all of the feathers on them
I discovered this Harold's Chicken by chance. I came out this way for a Walmart pickup. But decided to get a little bite to eat first (6 piece nuggets) from McDonald's. When I was pulling out of McDonald's, I saw Harold's Chicken across the street. I wondered to myself if they were good. I said to myself that I'll keep them in mind in the future. I turned right not realizing that I would end up turning into where Harold's was at, to turn around towards Walmart. I decided to get some then (screw those Mcnuggets). Best decision ever! Harold's was my fix for the day. I came when it wasn't too busy, about 7 in the evening. It was just a couple of people waiting ahead of me. I didn't mind the wait at all. She said 15 minutes. I didn't even time it. Why are people complaining about waiting 15-20 minutes? Do you want raw chicken? Then if it's sitting too long, then you complain it's not fresh. Everything was on point, the fries were fresh and cooked done, too. I will travel for better food. I live way east in Chicago. I ate half of my food in the car cause I wasn't going straight home. The only thing is that I wasn't given a spoon, so I didn't try the cole slaw. By time I got home, within 2 hours, even the leftover was good and hit the spot. I didn't get to the cole slaw. The chicken is the main attraction anyway. Keep up the good cooking!
