Another little favourite of ours love the atmosphere, love the decor. Food comes from next door, so that can be a little hit miss regarding temperature but usually fine. A good variety of drinks. <br/ <br/ Love it especially when we come across the musicians playing very authentic!

Well....this place is amazing. When you step in, it feels you entered one of those fabulous warm pubs in cartoon jungles....I loved it. I didn't drink, as I needed full attention that day, but the wedges I ordered....were marvellous. Honestly, the best wedge I have had in Takapuna. The dishes are big and could be shared. Waiters are quick and polite. And the menu has almost anything you would like to have. I'll definitely go there again. The only bad thing was the smell of smoking coming inside. The door was open and the wind carried the smell in. It wasn't bad for me. But my friend was unhappy with it.

The fish pie from here is insanely good! Equally so is the pint of Guinness!<br/ I went on a Sunday afternoon and there was a group of instrumentalists in the far corner playing some quality irish music which was a very pleasant background setting.<br/

Yeah, nice spot. My wife and I are out of town for a few days, sick of takeaways. We were wanting something simple, inexpensive and not wanting to feel we needed to get gussied up. This fit the bill nicely. Good food, friendly staff smallish but not lacking in atmosphere. Left happy and appreciative.
